FL Health System to Launch Virtual Sitting, Nursing Capabilities
In partnership with Andor Health, Orlando Health is expanding the capabilities of its virtual care offerings to allow patients to access new resources such as virtual sitting.

By - Orlando Health is deploying a platform known as ThinkAndor to begin virtual sitting and virtual nursing resources to enhance virtual inpatient experiences.
Created by Andor Health, ThinkAndor is a virtual care and collaboration platform driven by artificial intelligence (AI), including Open AI and ChatGPT. Andor Health is a virtual care solutions provider that aims to improve the time to treatment, limit burnout among clinicians, and enhance patient outcomes.
Orlando Health previously implemented the ThinkAndor platform for digital front door, virtual visit, and virtual care collaboration services for more than 2 million patients and over 1,500 providers across the system. Now, it will add virtual sitting and virtual nursing capabilities.
The health system aims to enhance operational efficiency by deploying the new capabilities.
"At a time where nursing shortages are paramount, it is critical that health systems work to improve efficiency by decentralizing care. By leveraging ThinkAndor, hospitals can virtually connect sitting capabilities with nursing stations to optimize patient sitting," said Raj Toleti, chairman and CEO of Andor Health, in the press release. "Not only does ThinkAndor leverage Open AI and other AI models to inject AI behaviors into cameras in a hardware-agnostic manner to detect falls, elopement, and compute predictive models based on telemetry, but most importantly is being deployed at scale to thousands of acute and post-acute care patient rooms."
The platform will enable care teams to conduct multiple clinical workflows and interventions through a single endpoint, according to the press release.
"At Orlando Health, our top priority is ensuring the health and safety of our patients," said Darius Love, DNP, assistant vice president, workforce optimization and redesign, in a press release. "By leveraging existing hardware and software, we are able to effectively monitor these high-risk patients who often represent vulnerable populations."
Similar efforts have aimed to expand digital programs to support patient care and improve outcomes for various conditions.
For example, with the goal of supporting a cardiometabolic program for chronic disease patients, Amwell recently added a digital therapeutic solution from DarioHealth in March.
The goal of this collaborative effort is to expand access to care for those with cardiometabolic conditions, as Amwell Health clinicians and affiliated health plans can now refer patients to a cardiometabolic program developed by DarioHealth.
Another collaboration between Brightline and Evernorth Health Services in March aims to support children in accessing behavioral healthcare resources.
Brightline researchers found that 35 percent of working parents spend at least five hours per week assisting their children with behavioral health needs. However, the organization noted that telehealth could provide children and their families with access to various resources to support these issues.
Brightline services have been extended through the partnership to Evernorth clients and Cigna Healthcare customers who receive coverage through their employer or marketplace exchange plans.
