In addition to winning overall, Epic was named top Overall Physician Practice Vendor based on provider feedback in this year's Best in KLAS awards. The health IT giant also earned plaudits in 13 other categories, the research firm announced Wednesday.

Of note, Impact Advisors and Nordic are tied as co-winners of the Overall IT Services category. 

Impact Advisors also took top placements in ERP Implementation Leadership, Financial Improvement Consulting and Security & Privacy Consulting Services categories while Nordic won for HIT Core Clinical Implementation Leadership.

The KLAS announcement noted that Nordic also scored above 90 in four separate services segments, which is detailed in 2023 Best in KLAS Software and Services report.

"The 2023 Best in KLAS report highlights the top-performing healthcare IT solutions as determined by extensive evaluations and conversations with thousands of healthcare providers," said Adam Gale, CEO of KLAS Research.

Best in KLAS is awarded only in software and services market segments that have the broadest operational and clinical impact on healthcare organizations, based on information obtained from 23,000 evaluations KLAS conducted in 2022. This year's results represent the opinions of healthcare professionals and clinicians from more than 4,500 healthcare organizations, measuring more than 1,000 healthcare technology products and services.
