Security has become a top priority in healthcare. If you’re not investing in secure solutions, you’re going to have problems. The challenge for many organizations is balancing the need for secure solutions while not impacting the workflow for clinicians and patients. This is why it was great to see LG coming together with Imprivata to create a simple, secure solution that satisfied the CISOs needs and desires along with a simple workflow that doesn’t impact clinicians and patients. We checked out this integrated solution at the HIMSS conference which leveraged a thin client on the LG monitor and built in Imprivata badge scanning.
