MediQuant, according CEO Jim Jacobs, is an "active archive" service, in business since 1999. With the growing importance of AI, MediQuant is supporting customers now on the best and safest ways to use their legacy and archived data for those applications. Jacobs points out AI's huge hunger for data and says that customers "miss a lot of the picture" if they can't draw on historical data.  In fact, many AI applications need to have the full historical data to work effectively.
