It is required to be a pharmacy information system to include : medication administration record, patient profiles, I.V. and TRN tables, medication charges, inventory control, automated admissions and reporting capabilities. It should help pharmacists to process orders , check drug interactions, maintain inventory levels, check lab test results, create order rules, and comply with government regulations The Pharmacy module should allow for the setting up of drug formularies, dispensing prescriptions, production of labels and comprehensive reporting for patient profiles and stock consumption. The module should be integrated with the stock control management module. Furthermore, the Pharmacy module should help pharmacists across the Hospital, process orders, maintain inventory levels, check drug interaction, check lab test results, create order rules and comply with controlled substance regulations

The module is needed to be an integrated part of the ledger/procurement to manage , control and depreciate all the major equipment, buildings , and facilities. The application should accommodate an unlimited number of assets. The application should adhere to either standard or hospital defined methods of depreciation ; Furthermore the application should monitor and control assets in four statuses: initial, active , retired , and proposed. Active and/or proposed assets may be incorporated into the budget, with budget projections automatically forwarded to the general ledger application.
