Hazem El-Oraby

I am an experienced healthcare executive with over 15 years of deep clinical and informatics expertise in the design, development, implementation and support of complex healthcare solutions. Beginning my career as a cardiologist, I understand the needs of clinicians and the nature of their work. I work with cross-functional teams to design and develop innovative business process improvement solutions for clinicians around the world and collaborate with regional stakeholders and clients in more than 20 countries on 6 continents. I have also led digital transformation projects within organizations where I have worked and with clients, helping them with their own transformation projects to support their strategic vision and grow their business. As Chief Medical Information Officer, I am a leader of change and an evangelist for all things “clinical”. This includes strategic roadmaps, product management, global and regional configurations, key customer relationships, clinical safety, clinical adoption, benefit realization, pre-sales, marketing and more. This has prompted me to acquire more Business domain knowledge, so I’ve just recently completed my Executive Master’s degree in Innovation and Entrepreneurship with honors from HEC Paris; the Top Business School for Executive Education according to the Financial Times. I am considered as an Intrapreneur – having been involved in several major innovative projects in my career, driving them from conceptualization and following through all the way to implementation and support. I also have a great passion for converting data into insights and using those insights in optimizing business processes, driving strategic decisions, and improving the end user experience. Additionally, the Google Data Analytics Professional Specialization has helped me gain many analytical skills and putting them to effective use.
